ANNOUNCEMENT
Online Electronic Data Storage Certificate of Proficiency, Announced by SAU Tech -
Southern Arkansas University Tech (SAU Tech) announced its new online Electronic Data Storage Certificate of Proficiency, created in collaboration with PRISM International, and other industry participants. The online certificate was created in response to industry demand for training in the areas specific to Electronic Data Storage, the secure transmission of electronic data to an offsite backup location via the Internet or other communication line.

NEW HIPAA RULE PUBLISHED IN JULY 14 FEDERAL REGISTER – CAMPAIGN TO BEGIN ON MONDAY, JULY 19 – A new proposed rule has been issued by Health and Human Services. The Federal Register download has been loaded onto the Resources area of the PRISM Community and can be accessed at the following link:

HIPAA CAMPAIGN IS COMING VERY SOON – NOW IS THE TIME TO COLLECT INFORMATION AND REVIEW RESOURCES – As was mentioned in the June 24 edition of InFo, all US members of PRISM International will be asked to comment on a new rule issues by Health and Human Services regarding Business Associate provisions. We will be using comments to voice the concerns of the industry in a number of areas related to HIPAA. Here are some things you can do now to prepare for your response.

LONDON IMAGING WORKSHOP IS FAST APPROACHING!!
If you plan to register for the upcoming Fundamentals of Imaging Workshop in London, there are only a few weeks until the event.  This workshop has never been made available in Europe and is timed to coordinate with the AIIM Roadshow that is also taking place in the UK during the same period of time. It would be possible to complete the Fundamentals of Imaging Workshop and Attend the AIIM Road Show the following day. Attendees will receive a concentrated education in how to begin and grow imaging operations within their individual operation. The workshop includes actual experience in using equipment and software as well as job costing, imaging operations, staffing and human resources, sales and market development, and quality control.
