LONDON IMAGING WORKSHOP IS FAST APPROACHING!!
If you plan to register for the upcoming Fundamentals of Imaging Workshop in London, there are only a few weeks until the event.  This workshop has never been made available in Europe and is timed to coordinate with the AIIM Roadshow that is also taking place in the UK during the same period of time. It would be possible to complete the Fundamentals of Imaging Workshop and Attend the AIIM Road Show the following day. Attendees will receive a concentrated education in how to begin and grow imaging operations within their individual operation. The workshop includes actual experience in using equipment and software as well as job costing, imaging operations, staffing and human resources, sales and market development, and quality control. NEW DOCUMENT AVAILABLE TO COMPARE COST OF IMAGING BACKFILE CONVERSION TO PAPER STORAGE
On behalf of the PRISM International Publications Task Group (TG10) we are pleased to make available a new free case study publication donated to PRISM International by Fred Grevin, Deputy Commissioner and Chief Information Officer for the City of New York. This seven-page publication compares the cost of a backfile conversion by scanning to the cost of storing the records as paper. Please note that this document was provided to PRISM International at no charge. This paper was not commissioned by PRISM International.
 
Please note the following when reviewing this publication:

  1. The paper is based on Fred Grevin’s experience and his calculations. He has been careful to indicate his assumptions and any bias on his part in the document.
  2. The dollar figures listed in the study are meant to compare services based on retrospective pricing. They do not represent industry averages or targets. They are based on the direct experience of the City of New York or direct research conducted by Mr. Grevin.
  3. Users of this paper should pay particular attention to the first page of the document. Mr. Grevin provides details regarding any assumptions or biases on the first page.
  4.  Mr. Grevin has requested feedback from the industry regarding this paper. PRISM International has established a thread on the General Discussion list for this purpose. Please use this thread to discuss information contained in the paper.
