PRISM INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF OPERATION AT 2010 CONFERENCE IN RENO

Members of PRISM International are celebrating 30 years of continuous operation at their Annual Conference in Reno, NV. The conference will be held on May 11-13 at the Peppermill Hotel and Casino. Both members and non-members are invited to attend the event. The keynote speakers for this year’s event include the small business turnaround expert Jack Stack whose book “The Great Game of Business” has served as a primer for countless numbers of small businesses facing challenges of employee involvement and motivation. Iron Mountain Executive Chairman, Richard Reese, will provide a retrospective look at the industry over the last 30 years. Records Management author and instructor, Bill Saffady, PhD, will report on the next 30 years of information management and where business opportunities may be found.

One of the main features of this year’s conference is the pre-conference Imaging Day. This event, which is included in full conference registration but can also be purchased separately, features a full day of educational programming on imaging operations. Industry operators will be the featured speakers for the event, which will also offer a “hands on” area to experience document imaging prep, scanning and indexing services.

Also featured in the 2010 conference is a “homecoming dinner”. Former members of PRISM International, ACRC or NASDV are invited to attend the dinner this year and to dress as their favorite character from the 1980s. As in years past, the conference also features a golf tournament, multiple educational tracks and frequent opportunities for networking. New members and first-time conference attendees can request a conference mentor for guidance and advice on how to make the most of their PRISM International Annual Conference experience. The conference also features a large trade show with more than 50 exhibit booths. Exhibitors are an excellent source of industry news, product application, and represent new technology application.

PRISM International’s annual conference serves business owners and managers who are currently involved in the information management outsourcing industry, or who are considering being involved in the industry.
